So when you reach out, you are speaking with a local provider's business, not with us standing in for them.

The first conversation is short and relaxed. Expect questions like these:

• What type of roof do you have now?
• Are you looking at a full replacement?
• When might the work fit your family's schedule?

Then the provider explains the next step. That is often a visit to look at your roof and write up an estimate. Request a callback to check provider availability for your area.

What to Ask a Roofing Provider

Have a few questions ready. Jot them down before the visit.

• Are you licensed and insured for roofing in this state? Can I see proof?
• Which materials do you suggest for my home, and why?
• What does the written quote include? Tear-off, disposal, underlayment, flashing?
• How long will the job take, and what happens if rain shows up?
• How will you protect my landscaping, driveway, and attic space?
• What warranty comes from the manufacturer, and what comes from you?
